Hi, i am happy to say i will be going to Tenerife at the end of December this year. This will be my second time there as I went to Tenerife earlier this year and it was amazing, so I’m expecting the same again this year! Just thought i would make this entry to the blog letting you know about my upcoming holiday as that is the booking of it all completed and paid now. I am so looking forward to this trip! Here i will show you some photos of me and my friend Mick on the previous trip to Tenerife and and tell you a bit about it.
Tenerife is one of Spain’s Canary Islands, it is just off West Africa and it is the biggest of the islands. It is dominated by a dormant volcano, Mt. Teide, the tallest peak in Spain. Tenerife may be best known for its Carnaval de Santa Cruz, a huge pre-Lent festival with parades, music, dancing and colorful costumes. The island has many beaches (with yellow sand to black sand) and also resort areas, including Playa de las Américas and Los Cristianos.
My Previous Trip To Tenerife
We went on the 10th of August 2017 and arrived there around 8:00pm with the plane flight lasting just over 4 hours long. It was still hot at that time, but nothing compared to the heat we were in for the next day. Tenerife is Roasting Hot!. It was Playa de las Américas in Tenerife where we stayed.
The hotel we went to was called Las Piramides Resort and it was really nice. It was very clean, well looked after and full of friendly staff and holiday goers. (It is the same hotel we are going to again this time round in December 2017).
As part of our holiday package, we had the All-Inclusive deal so drinks and food was completely free from first thing in the morning until 22:30 night time. There was also shows which took place in the hotel on a nightly basis and there was a buffet feast every day for breakfast, lunch, then dinner time, all delicious.
The night life in Playa de las Américas, Tenerife is great, it is very lively and the bars are open through to early in the morning. Drinks where very cheap and the food from the take-away shops and stalls was very nice and a good price too. I remember a pepperoni piza i got one night on the way back to the hotel and it was fantastic!
When i return from our second trip to Playa de las Américas in Tenerife i will be posting all about it including all the all different bars and night clubs that are there that we visit, the different restaurants and eating places there is and everything else we do including the water parks, attractions, hotel and more!
