Ultra MMA Glasgow Cancer Research UK Fundraising

So today i was at the meeting in the Griphouse Gym about the Ultra MMA Glasgow Fundraser for Cancer Research UK.  I recently signed up to do this from a Facebook Advert i seen from the Ultra MMA organization and gym.

What It Involves

The fundraiser involves 8 weeks of training starting next week followed by a fight at the event at the end of April. The fight will consist of 3 rounds with 2 minutes in each round. I am not entirely sure of what the training consists of other than what i found out today at the meeting, which was that it will involve grappling, wrestling and striking. The training at the gym will be 3 times per week plus other extra working out that is added.

What I Will Be Doing

Along with the training provided by Ultra MMA and The Griphouse, i will be taking all additional classes by the trainers as well as competing in my fight on the event night. I will also be raising money through my JustGiving Page, Sponsor Sheet and Selling Tickets for the event.
