So today i thought i would talk a little more about the pets that i have and let you know their names, what they are like, how long i have had them, etc..So, firstly, ill start off with a post about my pet budgies, well my Son would say, his Jak’s budgies. Later today i will publish another about my pet dog Kiya, and then a further 2 either tonight or tomorrow about my pet gerbil & fish. But for now, let me introduce you to my 2 flying friends!
Both of my budgies where bought at the same time and are brother and sister to each other. They are about 3 year old and both enjoy being out of the cage a lot and flying about. They eat a lot and can be very loud at times when chirping away. They are always kissing and cleaning each other and are great little pets to have around the house.
Bella is the female budgie of the 2 and more on the crazier side than her brother Jinky. She is a mix of mainly green, and blue, but as you can see from the photo below, she looks almost yellow instead of green at sometimes. Bella loves to sit on the swing that is in the cage and even if the swing picks up some pace, she still just continues to sit on it and swing away.
Jinky is the male budgie out of the 2 and is mainly blue with a white face and back / wings. He is a lot more willing to let people hold him and lets me son go over to him and walks onto his finger without flying away. Jinky does not bite at all and is very friendly to both humans and Bella, his sister. Jinky loves to sing and talk to himself in the mirror a lot when he isn’t doing it to Bella.
I bought both Bella and Jinky from the small pet shop in The Forge Shopping Centre for £30 each, the pet shop is located inside the indoor market in The Forge. They had a great selection of budgies and some other types of birds. We (Me & Jak) choose 2 that were together and looked like they got on well with each other. The woman in the pet shop said all the budgies in that cage were related to each other, brothers & sisters.
I used to also look after another budgie called Snowy, below you can see a photo of this budgie, i had it for about 3 or 4 months while the owner was unwell. Here is also a video of Snowy the budgie: Wee Snowy The Budgie Nice n Quiet.
